California's stonefruit growers are holding out for high prices this season after unseasonable spring weather dented the state's fruit crops. Many exporters still enjoy good sales on Asian markets, however, and with the help of research and development firm HortResearch, some are managing to grow new sweet varieties for the Asian consumer.
